Welcome to Meal Mate! These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Meal Mate mobile application and services. By using our app, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.

1. Disclaimer

By using Meal Mate, you agree that you do so at your own risk. The app does not take responsibility for your health and solely provides the functionality to record personal data, such as consumed calories. Recommendations provided by the app are not accurate as they are generated using artificial intelligence (AI). Before using Meal Mate, please consult your doctor.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Meal Mate. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 16, please refrain from using the app.

3. Use of the App

Meal Mate is a mobile application designed to help you track calories and nutritional intake. By using this app, you agree to the following:

• You will use the app solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during the registration process.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Account Registration

In order to use certain features of the app, you must register an account. When registering, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, including:

• Height
• Weight
• Age
• Desired weight
• Activity level
• Diet type

You are responsible for keeping your account information up-to-date and for any activities that occur under your account.

All content within the app, including logos, text, images, and other materials, are the property of Meal Mate or its licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any of the content from the app without explicit permission.

9. Data Storage

Data provided by users, including personal information and images, is stored on third-party servers (Supabase) and processed for the purposes of the app. We are not responsible for any data loss or breach resulting from third-party services.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Use. Upon termination, you will lose access to your account and all associated data unless otherwise provided by law.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and we make no guarantees regarding its functionality, accuracy, or availability. We are not responsible for any damages or losses arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to:

• Data loss or corruption
• Incorrect calorie or nutrition information
• Issues related to third-party services

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. All changes will be posted in the app or on this website. By continuing to use the app after changes have been made, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ukraine.
